Carina is identifeye HEALTH's Chief Operating Officer. Carina has broad experience in medical devices and a track record of successfully bringing to market a number of market-leading products. Prior to joining identifeye HEALTH, Carina held the role of VP of Advanced Technologies at Calhoun Vision, where she built a multidisciplinary team and defined the technology roadmap and the product strategy for the company. Prior to Calhoun, Carina served as the Global Head of R&D of the Surgical Equipment and Implantable devices at Abbott Medical Optics, where she brought to market numerous ophthalmic products, including AMO’s leading one-piece Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) platform. Carina is an EiR at UCLA, where she offers her industry and startup experience to help guide and bolster entrepreneurial efforts across campus. She holds 20 patents and co-authored several publications. Carina holds a PhD. in Physics with awards from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
